PHILOSOPHY

We believe in purchasing high quality materials and tools from local businesses. We believe in hiring and working with professional, licensed and insured personnel. We do not take on as much work as humanly possible, only to throw cheap, unskilled labor into your project, so it stays “on track.” Many of the sub-contractors you will see in your home are professionals with whom we have a longtime relationship. We are personally onsite everyday to insure that everyone from the client to the sub contractor is on the same page, as well as to insure high quality and communication is taking place. In many cases, Mike, and, or Marlin will be executing the work on your project. Great pride is taken to properly coordinate our sub contractors in and out of projects in a timely manner. We are very careful in making sure that no step in any process is ever overlooked. Cutting corners to save time or money is NEVER an option.

Residential remodeling is an ever evolving industry. To remain successful, and deliver the best results for our clients, this means, we must be able and willing to evolve along with it. We pride ourselves as experts in our field, but also understand that you never stop learning in this industry. We are always researching the latest trends and materials, as well as speaking with supply houses, architects and engineers as to best methods and practices. You are never too smart for this industry.

Living on this planet, we have a responsibility to take care of it. For us, this means, reusing and recycling as much waste on our job sites as possible. All paper products, plastics, metals and usable lumber is sorted out of our landfill waste. All landfill waste gets disposed of at a EPA certified dump station. Any items or materials that still have plenty of useful life left in them, get donated to one of many local salvage yards. Cleanliness on our jobsites is of the utmost importance. We make sure to install floor protections and dust walls as necessary. To aid in dust management, and the health of all job site occupants, we have invested in a HEPA air scrubber for use during demolition and heavy construction.

Bottom line, our philosophy is simple. Use top quality materials, tools and equipment available, educate yourself to no end, conduct yourself as a professional, take a thoughtful and creative approach in your work, and keep craftsmanship alive everyday.
